Our buyback contract runs on Robinhood Chain. It claims creator fees from Pons, spends 65% of the ETH on ROUTE, and sends the bought tokens and remaining ETH to our treasury Safe.

How a run works

  1. Check the balance. Every 15 minutes, the bot checks for claimable ETH in the Pons escrow and confirms that the Safe’s policy is still active.
  2. Get a quote. It prepares a ROUTE purchase using 65% of the claim, sets a 0.5% slippage tolerance and simulates the transaction.
  3. Claim and buy. The contract claims the quoted amount, buys through its fixed Route executor and pays the Safe. All three steps happen in one transaction. If one fails, they all revert.
  4. Keep the proceeds. The Safe receives the bought ROUTE and the remaining 35% of ETH, including any rounding dust. Fees that arrive after the quote are left for the next run.
Onchain, the buyer is the flywheel contract. The bot’s wallet submits the transaction and pays gas, while the purchased ROUTE goes straight to the Safe.

Multisig control

Two of the Safe’s three owners must approve each buyback policy. A policy lasts up to 72 hours and sets the timing, claim limits, budget and minimum token rate. Once approved, the bot can run purchases within those rules without asking the owners to sign each one. The current policy allows full available claims, at least 15 minutes apart. Its fixed onchain price floor is set too low to provide a useful market-price check. The bot relies on a fresh quote, a 0.5% slippage limit and simulation instead; there is no independent onchain price oracle. The Safe can pause buybacks, recover funds to itself or take back the right to claim creator fees. Emergency recovery can send an entire claim to the Safe without the usual 65/35 split. The bot cannot change the treasury or the swap executor. A run is skipped if the policy has expired or been paused, no fees are available, the bot lacks gas, or the quote or simulation fails.

Contracts and receipts

The first confirmed buyback on September 8, 2026 claimed approximately 0.515937 ETH, spent 0.335359 ETH to buy 137,096.46 ROUTE, and sent approximately 0.180578 ETH to the Safe. The ROUTE also went to the Safe. When we checked block 59,430,007 on September 10, 2026, the contract had completed 86 buybacks and was unpaused. Its policy allowed runs 15 minutes apart and expires on September 11, 2026, at 12:27:51 UTC. The Safe needs to renew it before buybacks can continue beyond that point. Check the contract for its latest state. Buyback announcements link to individual purchases. For exact amounts and transaction status, check the receipt and the contract’s Executed event.

Where the tokens stay

Bought ROUTE stays in the Safe. Burning or locking it would need a separate transaction approved by the Safe’s owners. Platform swap fees also stay in the Safe and don’t automatically fund these creator-fee buybacks. The contracts are unaudited.
