Route charges a fee on the output of each swap. The default is 10 bps (0.10%). Your agreed rate is fixed on your key and applies to every swap you build. It cannot be changed per request; to change it, DM @rapidssh. The fee is taken once from the swap’s actual output inside the executor and paid to the Route treasury Safe 0x3b9C7bC09FF64F554480f30Ad40286cFc09d2F80. The rest goes to recipient.

Reading the fee in a response

Pool fees are already included in amountOut. Network gas is paid separately by the signing wallet.

Two different “net” values

The top-level netOut is the quote’s output minus estimated gas cost in output-token units (gasCostOut). It is a ranking figure and does not include the Route fee. Use swap.netOut for what the user receives.
