```
GET https://partners.route.fun/tokens
```

<ParamField header="Authorization" type="string" required>
  `Bearer rk_...`
</ParamField>

<ParamField query="address" type="address" required>
  Token contract address.
</ParamField>

## Response

<ResponseField name="address" type="address">The token, lowercased.</ResponseField>

<ResponseField name="metadata" type="object | null">
  `decimals`, `symbol`, `name` and `status`. `null` if Route has no metadata for the address.
</ResponseField>

<ResponseField name="pools" type="integer">Number of indexed pools that contain the token. `0` means Route cannot route it.</ResponseField>

```bash theme={null}
curl -G "https://partners.route.fun/tokens" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $ROUTE_API_KEY" \
  --data-urlencode "address=0x5fc5360d0400a0fd4f2af552add042d716f1d168"
```

```json theme={null}
{
  "address": "0x5fc5360d0400a0fd4f2af552add042d716f1d168",
  "metadata": { "decimals": 6, "symbol": "USDG", "name": "Global Dollar", "status": "ok" },
  "pools": 287853
}
```

Use `decimals` to convert user input to raw `amount` units for [`/quote`](/api-reference/quote). Native ETH has 18 decimals and is not looked up here.
