# AI and MCP

## Copy a page

Use **Copy page** at the top of a page to copy its Markdown. The menu also offers Markdown view, MCP and supported AI-client shortcuts.

## Search with an assistant

Use the **MCP** option in the page menu to connect Mintlify's documentation search to a compatible assistant. Follow the connection steps and sign in if prompted.

For example, ask: "Find Route's quote expiry and explain what I need to check before signing a swap."

This connection searches documentation. It does not fetch live quotes, grant API access, approve tokens or submit swaps.

## Keep signing in your wallet

The Route API returns quotes and unsigned transactions. A wallet must review and sign any swap. Never share a private key or recovery phrase with an assistant.
